Zorro
Meurop is the first Belgian production house to focus on plastic furniture on a large scale. Meurop offers quality design at attractive prices by favouring mass production and the use of raw and inexpensive materials. The principles of modularity, standardisation and functionality are at the basis of the furniture collections on the market under the artistic direction of Pierre Guariche (1926-1995) and determine their success with the general public. Zorro, the children’s chair, was designed by Zielonka in 1972. It’s two-sided, reversible structure can be adjusted to two different heights. The two parts that form the chair are interlocking and can be transformed into storage for toys.
